Wide prescription sunglasses, with a lower profile

Finding wide prescription sunglasses for men should mean having a choice of shapes as well as sizes. Gent XL brings our understated Gent design to a 155mm frame, with a lower profile than Classic XL.

Choose your frame and lens-colour combination, then customise your prescription lenses. Standard single vision sun lenses include full UV400 protection, with optional polarisation to help reduce reflected glare.

Bifocal lenses, thinner lens options and additional coatings are also available at extra cost. Your total updates as you choose, so you can review your pair before ordering.

 Try the fit before ordering

Your prescription lenses are made specifically for you, so it makes sense to feel confident about the frame first.

UK prescription customers can request up to two black sample frames to try at home for 14 days. Check how they sit on your nose, around your temples and behind your ears, then return them by tracked post before ordering your prescription pair.

The samples are black, regardless of the colour you may later choose.

Use our Fitting Guide as a starting point, or contact us to arrange a try-on and get help choosing your frame.

FAQs

Should I choose Gent XL or Gent XXL prescription sunglasses?

Gent XL measures 155mm across the frame, compared with 165mm for Gent XXL. The XL also has a shallower frame and narrower bridge, so the difference goes beyond overall width.

The Gent offers a lower-profile shape, but the right fit depends on your individual measurements and preferences.

Use our Fitting Guide for a suggested size. Head shape and bridge fit also matter. UK prescription customers can request sample frames to try at home before ordering.

Are polarised prescription lenses included in the price?

The starting price includes standard 1.5 single vision, non-polarised prescription sun lenses with full UV400 protection and an anti-scratch coating.

Polarised lenses are an optional upgrade to help reduce reflected glare from surfaces such as roads and water. Bifocals, thinner lenses and additional coatings also cost extra.

Use Select lenses to explore the options and see your updated total before adding your sunglasses to the cart.
