Fit and construction
A wide frame designed for larger heads and broad faces, with lightweight construction and spring hinges for flexibility at the temples.
The Gent XL offers a shallower shape and wider bridge than Classic XL, while sharing the same 155mm overall width. It is 10mm narrower than Gent XXL.

A microfibre pouch is included with your glasses. A hard case is sold separately and is available at half price when purchased with any pair.

Prescription orders
Please allow up to 14 calendar days for UK delivery from the date we receive your prescription. Standard UK tracked delivery is free.
Prescription returns
We offer a 50% goodwill refund on the amount paid for your frame and prescription lenses, including lens-thickness upgrades. Paid coating upgrades are excluded. Contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery; return conditions apply.
This offer does not limit your statutory rights if your glasses are faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described. Please read our full Returns Policy before ordering.

Wide fit prescription glasses, with a lower profile
Choosing glasses for a larger head should mean having a choice of shapes as well as sizes. The Gent XL brings our understated Gent design to a wide 155mm prescription frame.
Compared with Classic XL, its shallower frame and wider bridge offer a different fit and appearance. It’s worth comparing if you prefer a lower-profile shape, while keeping more room than standard-width glasses.
Choose your frame colour, then customise your prescription lenses. Standard single vision lenses are included, with bifocal, lens-thickness and coating upgrades available at extra cost.
Try the fit before ordering
Your prescription lenses are made specifically for you, so it makes sense to feel confident about the frame first.
UK prescription customers can request up to two black sample frames to try at home for 14 days. Check how they sit on your nose, around your temples and behind your ears, then return them by tracked post before ordering your prescription pair.
The samples are black, regardless of the colour you may later choose.

How does Gent XL differ from Classic XL prescription glasses?
Both frames are 155mm wide. Gent XL has a shallower 47mm frame height and an 18mm bridge, compared with Classic XL’s 53mm frame height and 16mm bridge.
The Gent offers a lower-profile shape, but the right fit depends on your individual measurements and preferences.
Choose between them based on the shape you prefer and how the frame fits your face. Our Fitting Guide provides a starting point, and UK prescription customers can request up to two sample frames to compare at home before ordering.
What lenses are included in the starting price?
The starting price includes the Classic XXL frame and standard 1.5 single vision prescription lenses with an anti-scratch coating. How do I order and send you my prescription?
Choose your frame colour, then tap Select lenses and follow the steps to choose your lenses and upgrades. You can upload a photo or PDF of your prescription, enter the details manually, or choose to email it to us after ordering.
If you choose to send it later, email your prescription to info@fadeddays.co.uk with your order number. Please allow up to 14 calendar days for UK delivery from the date we receive your prescription.
