XL sunglasses for large heads

Finding sunglasses for large heads shouldn’t mean choosing a frame that feels too tight or looks too big. The Classic XL combines our original frame shape with a wide 155mm fit—10mm narrower than our Classic XXL.

These wide-fit sunglasses offer a lightweight frame, flexible spring hinges and polarised UV400 lenses for everyday comfort and reduced glare. Choose from understated colours or brighter mirrored lenses, with the same familiar Classic look.

Classic XL sunglasses dimensions: 155mm frame width, 53mm frame height, 56mm lens width, 45mm lens height, 16mm bridge and 155mm arms.

FAQs

How do these compare to the 165mm XXL version?

The Classic XL measures 155mm across the front—10mm narrower than our 165mm XXL. Both offer a wide fit, but the XL may suit you better if the XXL feels too roomy. Use our fitting guide to check your suggested size.

Are these sunglasses suitable for large heads?

Yes—the Classic XL is designed for people who find standard sunglasses too narrow. Its 155mm frame provides extra room, while lightweight construction and spring hinges support a comfortable fit. Head shape and bridge fit also matter, so check our fitting guide before choosing.

Do these sunglasses come with a case?

Every pair includes a microfibre pouch for storage and cleaning. A hard case is sold separately: add our Extra Large Sunglasses Case for £19.50, half its usual £39 price, when buying XXL or XL sunglasses.
