Was sent 2 faulty pairs of glasses. As arm was loose. So had to send back twice. No offer of a discount for future purchases or any form of compensation. So will not use them again. Shame as the glasses are nice as I have two of their models.

Glasses broke - glass just fell out. Wouldn’t recommend

A lens coming out of the frame isn’t something we’d expect under normal use, so we’d really like the opportunity to look into this properly for you. Didn’t last at all, got scratched easily and then the glass broke

I'm so pleased to have prescription glasses that fit! I can never wear one-size-fits-all hats, and glasses are no easier to find on the high street.
For me it's not so much the width of the frame but the length of the arms where I really struggle. Gavin was great and sorted me out with 155mm arms which actually bend in the correct place for my ears (for the first time in my life!).
The hinges have extra flex and the frames are well made. There's no metal touching my skin so there's also no issue with my nickel sensitivity.
I've never bought glasses online before, so I wasn't sure how well it would go, but requesting all three try on pairs of the classic frames let me try them on at my leisure. It really was just a easy as sending a photograph of my latest prescription and the glasses arrived with no adjustments needed. Thank you!

You’ve perfectly described one of the biggest challenges we see—arm length and hinge position are just as important as frame width, and it’s brilliant to hear the 155mm arms finally solved that for you. The fact they bend in the right place for the first time is exactly why we do what we do.

Just as described. Superb quality sunshine spectacles for the large head. I used the handy online guide. It confirmed I have a giant swede, sized X,XL. Then it was as simple as selecting a style, I went for 'Scholar' because it suggests my excessive dome might be housing a super sized brain. I bought them and they satisfied me. You should buy them too.
Have you had that embarrassing moment when you see you a lovely pair of sunglasses and when you put them on, they bend on the arms to accommodate your large head?
If yes then Faded Days are for you!! You’ll never have that moment again.. I got my first pair last year (2024), absolutely life changing!!
They fit perfectly, look great with exceptional build quality.
I loved them so much I’ve just bought another pair in a different colour scheme.
If you’re undecided or have them in your basket and mulling over buying them, take my advice and just buy them, you won’t regret it
